Wines Bee Yard
Honey Vinaigrette
Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons Wines Bee Yard Honey or Whipped Honey or Hot and Spicy Honey Mustard
1/2 Tablespoon champagne or white wine vinegar
1 Tablespoon shallot, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
3 Tablespoons olive oil
Directions:
Whisk together honey and next 4 ingredients; whisk in oil.
My take: I made this recipe for a sampling at Fallen Timbers and I'm telling you I couldn't keep up with the folks who wanted
the recipe. Most people wanted me to make the vinaigrette and let's be honest, I've got way tooo much on my plate for that.
This is a great chance for you to experiment with different types of vinaigrettes and it makes just a small amount so it's
something you are not stuck with if you don't like it. I've made it using the Lemon Whipped Honey, the Blackberry and the
Mustard and I'm really happy with all three. I did use the champagne vinegar, only because I actually found it at the store I was
in and I used Shallots because one of the vendors at the farm market had them, but if not just improvise. Have fun.
